Two weekends ago I did another Periscope broadcast about my front yard and today I would like to share it here on the blog with you. I hope that you enjoy seeing videos of my garden as much as I do taping the Periscope shows.
In this one I focus on showing some roses ('Our Lady of Guadalupe', 'The Prince', 'Pretty Jessica') that were blooming in the front yard and also salvia 'Mystic Spires Blue', which is a show stopper in my garden. I am also featuring geranium 'Rozanne, dianthus 'Floral Lace White', flowering cyclamen and other plants.

Hi Christina: Thanks for sharing a video of your garden. I'm surprised you can grow so many Roses organically! My garden is organic, too, but I've had limited success with organic methods for Roses. The other plants seem to do just fine with companion planting and other organic methods. You have lovely arrangements of Salvias and other beautiful plants amongst your gorgeous Roses!
ReplyDeleteBeth, I feel the roses in my Southern California garden thrive when grown organically, but one thing I found out is, that I need to fertilize them quite frequently (basically after each flush!) if I want to have multiple blooms cycles each year.
DeleteDear Christina ~ I enjoy your garden videos. Seeing your roses and other flowers is always a treat.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing ~ FlowerLdy
Your garden looks beautiful, Christina, despite the spate of very hot weather we had again recently. I'm still in love with that 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' rose. It's interesting that you've already got a Cyclamen in bloom - I had one pop up extraordinarily early last year myself but haven't seen any sign of them yet this year.
ReplyDeleteTienes unas rosas preciosas, me encanta tu jardín. Besitos.
ReplyDeleteYour frontgarden looks really pretty Christina, that rose 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' is a beauty but not available here. Your Geranium 'Rozanne' flowers even better in your garden than here, I suppose she likes the heat and your soil. Blue flowers always combine wonderful with roses. I enjoyed your video.
ReplyDeletePretty Front Yard! Our gardens are so different, even though we can grow several of the same plants, like roses, Dianthus, Geranium Rozanne etc. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour front garden looks stunning. Everything rose so healthy
ReplyDeleteEvery rose so Heathy. Groetjes, Hetty
