Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays...

...is what I want to wish you one more time!

I assumed I wouldn't post before Christmas anymore, but my husband and I had a spontaneous photo session today trying to catch with the camera a little bit of what the holiday spirit is like in our Southern California home and garden. We had so much fun and I thought I would like to let you participate in this. So without any further comments some pictures from today. Hope you enjoy!

See you in the garden!

  2. Dear Christina ~ Oh my gosh, these are beautiful photos and I thank you for sharing these. My favorite is the one with the pansies. They all speak to my heart though, but that one gently grabs it.

Love and hugs and have a lovely Christmas day today.

  14. Beautiful and artistic! With all your roses, your garden must smell incredible. I love alyssum. Thanks for the reminder. :o)

  15. Casa Mariposa, thanks for the nice compliment! Actually because of the very low humidity here in San Diego fragrance is rarely wafting through the air. So my garden doesn't come across as a very fragrant one despite all my roses. I have only two roses, which have the ability to waft here: 'Zephriine Drouhin' and 'Marie Pavie'. To smell all the other roses you have to stick your nose into them or at least come close :-)! I am glad that I brought Sweet Alyssum back on the fragrance radar of your awareness ;-)!
